What is City Central Library (CCL) and how does it work?

CCL is a smart library management platform where users can register digitally, make online payments, and reserve a reading seat for 30 days. It provides a paperless and automated experience for readers and staff alike.

How can users register and book seats?

Users can sign up using their email or Google account. After successful login, they can make an online payment using Razorpay or UPI methods to reserve one of the 60 available seats for a 30-day period.

Can a user renew their membership?

Yes, users can renew their membership before expiry. If a user pays while their current plan is still valid, the new cycle will begin immediately after the current validity ends, and the same seat will be retained.

What happens if the validity expires?

Once a user's 30-day validity ends, their seat will be released and they will need to pay again to reserve a new or available seat. The system runs daily checks to ensure up-to-date seat management.

Can the library staff manage users and bookings?

Yes, library admins have access to a dashboard where they can view current members, track payment history, send expiry alerts, and manage seat allocations efficiently.

What payment methods are supported?

Payments can be made securely via Razorpay, supporting UPI apps like Google Pay, PhonePe, and Paytm. After a successful transaction, users are redirected to the dashboard with their seat confirmed.
